This years SummerSlam has the potential to be one of the best ever. Here are my predictions:
Randy Orton vs Sheamus
This is the match I am personally looking forward to the LEAST. I am a fan of Randy Orton. I am not a fan of Sheamus. The Celtic Warrior is currently the Money in the Bank briefcase hold. In the end, I am predicting he loses this match in dramatic form. In New York, expect a RKO Outta Nowhere!
Winner: Randy Orton
Triple Threat Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
Big Show vs. Ryback (C) vs. The Miz
Ryback is back and looks to be better than ever. After being sidelined due to injury, Ryback will have his hands full with two former WWE champions. But look out for the Big Guy to get it done.
Four-Way Tag Team Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship
Los Matadores vs. The New Day vs. The Prime Time Players (C) vs. The Lucha Dragons
The Prime Time Players have been entertaining as of late. It’s hard to believe they had a crazy break up a couple of years ago. In the end they will find a way to hold on to the titles.
Winner: Prime Time Players
Stephen Amell and Neville vs. Stardust and King Bad News
When was the last time a celebrity lost? Next match
Winner: Stephen Amell and Neville
Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper vs. Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns
Bray Wyatt has had his issues with both Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns. Now he has reunited with Luke Harper and will have to deal with both. With the exception of the small dissent during their time with the Shield, Ambrose and Reigns have been a solid unit. The trust is there. Wyatt and Harper have had their issues and can they really trust each other? Ambrose and Reigns can and that will lead to their victory.
Winner: Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns
Kevin Owens vs Cesaro
This is a match everyone is saying could steal the show. It will be very brutal. Kevin Owens and Cesaro are both future World Champions (yes I’m saying it) and this is a match that we will go back 5 years from now and watch over and over again. But this will be a match where both men will allow their emotions to get the best of them and lead to a double-disqualification.
Winner: No-One, Double DQ
Three Team Elimination Match
PCB vs Team Bella vs Team B.A.D.
This match will make or break the #DivaRevolution. Each woman will be looking to make their mark on the biggest stage. In the end it will be Charlotte standing tall.
Title vs. Title
WWE United States Champion vs. WWE World Heavyweight Championship
John Cena (US) vs. Seth Rollins (WWE)
This is a sleeper match. John Cena gets better with age, and Seth Rollins has had one of the best 1st-Time Title reigns in history. For some reason, I just do not see neither men walking out empty handed. Unless there is a stipulation made, I am going with a John Cena winning by disqualification.
Now I know that its possible for Sheamus to cash in his Money in the Bank contract, but I do not think it will happen.
Winner: John Cena by DQ
Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker
Once again, Brock Lesnar will main event SummerSlam. This match, 16 months in the making, should be a classic. Lesnar and Undertaker have never put on a bad match and this one is the most personal. Undertaker said it was fine for the streak to be broken, but he did not like Lesnar and Paul Heyman going around bragging about it. Both men will be in for a dog fight, but in the end, the Undertaker will emerge victorious.
