On Smackdown, Sami Zayn revealed that he and Shinsuke Nakamura are now a duo. After his loss on Monday Night Raw, Zayn looked distraught. Before you know it, he would lose his mind. The next night on Smackdown he appeared as a special guest on Miz TV where he revealed that he was had a new purpose in life was to help people. The person he was to help, Shinsuke Nakamara. Zayn continued by saying that Nakamura is an artist that does not get to express himself due to the language barrier. Nakamura is Japanese and according to Zayn is not able to fully articulate himself in English. Now they have joined forces and it could be very interesting.

One can argue that neither Zayn and Nakamura have reached their full potential since arriving to the WWE. Zayn, who has been a face (good guy) majority of his career essentially become a lovable loser from the jump. After multiple tries he finally became NXT Champion and the night he won, Kevin Owens debuted and later celebrated with him, only to turn his back on him. At the next Takeover, Owens took the title from him by way of knockout. Nakamura had an incredible NXT run, in fact his first match was match of the night at NXT Takeover Dallas when he defeated Zayn. He would become just the second person to win it twice. When he arrived on the main roster, he won the Royal Rumble but fell short at WrestleMania to AJ Styles in the WWE Championship match. After turning heel (bad guy) he still did not become champ and after the program with Styles was done he hasn’t anything groundbreaking.

So now you have two guys who have all the potential and even in the veteran age can still put in a great match and tell a great story. With Zayn on the mic and Nakamura in the ring, these next few weeks are going be very interesting. Honestly, I forgot Nakamura was Intercontinental champion, however having a mouthpiece can catapult him into the main event where he belongs.
